KC SHOCK GIRLS BASKETBALL

KC Shock is a 2nd grade through High School  Girls Basketball program, that focuses on player development. All of our coaches are current high school, middle school or ex-college players. We offer multiple teams and they are combined together based on like skill level. We believe players thrive when playing with other players of similar skill sets. Our most skilled team in each grade level is labeled Elite. We offer multiple tournaments each month in addition to playing in the KC Premiere League. Tournaments are not required,, just offered for players who want to play more than just league. Players who are just beginning to experience the game of basketball are as valued by Shock as the players on our Elite Teams.

We have 5 sessions throughout the year. Fall, Winter 1, Winter 2, Spring and Summer. Some players play year round and others sit out some sessions due to other activities. 95% of our players are multi-sport athletes. We believe valuable lessons are learned and character is developed by playing or participating in a variety of activities. We do not ask our players to choose one sport over another, we work hard to provide flexible practice schedules to accommodate our multi-sport athletes.
